Divine Carvings was born in October of 2004.
A few days before Halloween, we purchased a pumpkin carving kit & pumpkin. We had planned to carve it together. However, Tina could not be there for carving night. Mike was inspired to create his own carving. He wanted to impress Tina (then girlfriend, now fiance), so he designed a heart with "I LOVE TINA" on a little yellow sticky note. (He still has it!!) Then he carved the very first Divine Carving!
The very next Sunday, Pastor Steve was speaking about Halloween & how it's not a festive holiday for Christians to celebrate. (Lightbulb moment!!!) GOD filled Mike's spirit with a Divine Purpose!! This is how Divine Carvings came to be.

Our Philosophy
We feel it's a great way to promote GOD! Especially, in circumstances, where in today's world may be a sensitive subject. We feel Divine Carvings are good conversation starters. It can be a great witnessing tool to help bring people closer to the Lord. Our work is his work.
